Rick Roso is the Press, Public Relations and Editorial Director at Lime Rock Park in Northwest Connecticut. Lime Rock is one of the most iconic racetracks in the United States and arguably one of the best in the world. Rick’s been writing professionally since 1988 and some of his work included writing, reporting, and editing for the world’s largest racing school, Skip Barber. He’s a racer who loves to get out on the track and go fast. He worked in the cable television industry, radio trade newspapers, and written expository and technical pieces for Porsche, automotive think tanks and the aviation industry.
“Find out, figure out, do whatever it takes to find out what you really like to do. Irrespective of what others think and of money. What is it that you really like to do? And then figure out a way to get paid for it.”
Rick went to law school, thinking it would earn him enough to go racing but soon realized he wasn’t there for the right reasons.
Realizing that after a period of time, he was doing what he really felt good about.
