Mark Raffauf is the Senior Director of Race Operations at IMSA. He has been involved in professional motorsports for over 40 years, spending most of his time officiating for IMSA from the early 70s through the 90s and then in Grand-Am from 1999 through 2013. He has been part of developing numerous sports car categories including GTX, AAGT, GTP, WSC, Ferrari Challenge, Firestone Firehawk, Exxon World Sports Car, Rolex Sports Car, plus prototype cars. Mark has also been involved in the creation and updating of many racing circuits in North America. He is the current United States delegate to the FIA, International historic Car Racing commission and he is an Honorary member of the Road Racing Drivers Club known as the RRDC, in the United States. Mark is currently the FIA Historical Race car Commission U.S. representative.

Mark is a co-author on the new book, IMSA 1969–1989, along with past Cars Yeah guest, Mitch Bishop. It is the inside story of how John Bishop built the world’s greatest sports car racing series in the world.
