Jim Pace is the Co-Founder of the Chattanooga MotorCar Festival, an inaugural event that joins Byron Defoor’s 50 Plus Racing Foundation in bringing this fundraising event to Chattanooga, Tennessee. Jim is a professional racecar driver who has competed since 1987. He’s earned wins as the Overall Winner and GT Winner in the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, and at the 12 Hours of Sebring. Jim’s a sports car Series Champion in the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) GTU class. He is recognized as a top driver having raced formula, Prototype, GT, and vintage cars around the world including Spa in Belgium and Germany’s Nurburgring circuits. He is also a driving instructor, racing coach, and adventure consultant. As a principal in Historic Sportscar Racing since 2015 Jim has been a Race Advisor for the Classic 24 at Daytona and Classic 12 at Sebring.
