1578: Spencer Pumpelly

Spencer Pumpelly is an American race car driver currently racing with The Racers Group known as TRG. He also runs in the Michelin Pilot Challenge Series in a GS Audi R8 driving with Rob Ferriol for Hardpoint Motorsports as well as contesting the NAEC in IMSA Weathertech in a Grasser Magnus Lamborghini in GTD. He’s competed at the top levels of sportscar for over two decades driving his first Daytona 24 in 1998. He’s earned multiple victories in the American Le Mans Series and Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series including two GT class wins at The Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. At the 2006 Rolex finale he began his long relationship with TRG and drove in the Grand-Am Rolex GT series, Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge and American Le Mans Series GTC category with TRG. Spencer’s experience is varied beyond sports car. He has raced in the stock car ranks, including a near victory in ARCA/Re-Max series at New Jersey Motorsports Park, a test in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, as well as several late model events.
