Robin Baloochi is the Sports Marketing Manager at WD-40 Company and has been with the iconic brand since 2014. He was born and raised in San Diego and is a lifetime motorsports enthusiast. Growing up in a family owned & operated diesel repair shop, Robin spent lots of time in engine bays and under the hood. He raced bicycles from a very young age and progressed to race Mountain Bikes professionally for over 10 years. After his racing career he went back to school and attended the University of Oregon and graduated with a degree in Advertising. He joined WD-40 Company in 2014 as a contractor to help launch the recently created BIKE line of products. Shortly thereafter he was offered a full-time position and quickly established himself as product knowledge expert and helped establish a sports marketing strategy to build the credibility of the new WD-40 products by proving their efficacy and performance in cannot fail situations. WD-40 currently has partnerships in Cycling, Motocross, Supercross, Off-road Trucks, Rally and MotoGP where various WD-40 products are used to compete and win at the highest level.
