Brian Lohnes is the lead play by play announcer for the NHRA on FOX television broadcasts that air on FS1 and the FOX Broadcast Network. He is a very active racing announcer outside of TV, calling drag races in multiple disciplines of the sport from coast to coast between the NHRA events. He has owned a land speed racing sanctioning body, written for a dozen or so magazines, and hosted a variety of events and television shows. Brian is also the co-founder of BangShift.com, a very large enthusiast blog site that will celebrate its 12th anniversary in November. He is also the host of the Dork-O-Motive podcast. After years in the trucking business Brain took a different road in 2011 and has been making a living in automotive journalism and racing ever since.
