Sharon Silke Carty is the Editor-in-Chief at Hearst Autos Car And Driver where she oversees the brands print and digital operations. Previously she was Senior Editor at Automotive News, and before that Editor-in-Chief of Yahoo Autos. Before that, she was Editor-in-Chief of Autoblog/AOL Autos and further back Sharon was the Detroit bureau chief for USA Today where she covered the automotive industry and wrote for the paper’s “Drive On” blog. Her enthusiasm for automobiles has run long and deep. Hearst Autos’ brands include Car and Driver, Road & Track, Canadian Blackbook, Autoweek, and R&T Crew, a subscription box for car-loving kids.
