Al Satterwhite is a photographer and filmmaker whose career spans decades. His career began at a major newspaper and he spent over a decade covering assignments for almost every major magazine in print. He owned a production company focused on advertising with national and international clients including some of the largest companies in the world. Al was a consultant for Kodak for digital imaging, he lectured at Boston University, Brooks Institute of Photography, NYU and others. He also holds workshops at various facilities around the United States. He has shot commercials, features and award-winning feature shorts as both a cameraman and director and his current focus is on making films. Al is also working on several books and museum projects. His new book The Racers is a personal scrapbook of endurance motor racing from 1963 – 1973.
