Ikigai Car Life

Want to know something about me? I was made in Japan. Maybe that’s why I enjoy so much of Japanese design and thought. Having interviewed over 1,750 Inspiring Automotive Enthusiasts™ I have learned a key to achieving happiness and the perfect life balance. Ikigai.

Ikigai translates to “reason for being”

Ikigai isn’t tied to financial status. It’s more about what puts a smile on your face and what keeps you motivated in our life. It is a way to answer “What should I do with my life?” And if automobiles are your passion, you can create your own ikigai car life.

Ikigai combines the different facets of your life

What do you love which becomes your Passion and Mission. What are you good at becomes your Mission and Profession. What can you be paid to do becomes your Profession and Vocation. And what do others want and need from you becomes your Vocation and your Mission. All these aspects of your life intersect at your ikigai.

So how does one achieve an Ikigai Car Life?

True ikigai is achieved when all these areas overlap into a happy and well-balanced life. Pursuing your ikigai is challenging and requires tenacity and persistence and sacrifice. It is not about adding undue stress into your life but instead it gives you back a well-rounded persona.

Ikigai is mindfulness in all that you do.
