Rachel Meyer started racing, with her sister Megan, when she was just 8 years old. She raced Jr Dragsters for about 10 years then moved up into a super comp dragster and eventually the Top Alcohol Dragster ranks. Being a great student in math, she earned her BS in Mechanical Engineering and Technology from Pittsburg State University in 2017 and started working as a machine design engineer while racing part time. Today Rachel is a product developer in addition to racing dragsters. She clinched her first championship win in 2020 as the NHRA Central Regional Championship. Along with working full time, this year Rachel will also race this year in the Top Alcohol Dragster Class, and she’s planning a wedding as well.

Rachel’s sister Megan was guest #1593 July 9 2020.
