Tracy Powell is a veteran journalist with more than 20 years’ worth of writing, editing and project management in a variety of industries, including automotive, with more than 500 articles published. These days he operates his own publishing business, Powell House Creative Services, that involves ghostwriting and book production. One of his current projects is writing a book on Chuck Jordan, GM’s fourth vice president of design. He was managing editor at Automobile Quarterly for nearly 12 years and author of two books in the field. He contributed to and oversaw the production of a number of books while at AQ, including Cadillac at 100: Legacy of Leadership; The Buick: A Complete History; GTO: The Legend Returns; and AFAS: A Celebration of Automotive Art.

  1. Absolutely loved listening to both Tracy and Mark and the process of writing, the history and details of automobiles, authors, racers, books and more. This podcast was “packed” with so much information. Looking forward to a book on Chuck Jordan and a book on Mark Greene’s experiences.
