Don Kutschall is lead driving instructor at Skip Barber Racing School for all racing and driving programs. His time behind the wheel goes back to 1959 when he started racing Karts. In 1988 he won the SCCA WNY Region Rookie of the Year and the Skip Barber Mid-West Rookie of the Year in Formula Ford. Between 1989 and 1997 Don raced in the IMSA Firehawk series and the various iterations that grew out of it. He was a pro driver for the Viper and SRT Thrill rides at Nascar races and he’s worked with numerous companies as a driver and instructor. Don formerly coached at the Ferrari Challenge. From 1990 to the present he has been an instructor with the Skip Barber Racing School and continue to do private coaching in various series.
