Steven Harris is an architect in New York and Professor of Architecture at Yale. He grew up in Northern Florida and got out as soon as he could drive. His uncle had a 1958 356 Coupe and his father let him take his 1967 911S to University. He never got over it. In addition to collecting Porsches, Steven drives them. He participated in the Peking to Paris Rally in 2010, the Great American Challenge in 2014, and the California Mille, Colorado Grand, Ramshorn, Copperstate, and Sports Car Market 1000 multiple times. He hates renting cars, so he keeps his cars in Southern California, Upstate New York, Miami and Europe. 16 of Steven’s Porsches are currently on display at the Saratoga Automobile Museum through the summer in Saratoga Springs New York.

Great interview Mark. Was up in Saratoga to help judge at the AACA’s Spring Nationals meet and was pleasently suprised to see the “Rare Air” Exibit at the Saratoga Auto Museum going on. Mr Harris’s 356 Carrera diplay was truly amazing. He even had a 4-Cam motor on display for spectators to look over up and close. Thank you Mr Stevens for sharing and displaying them all together in one place like that. Excellent!
Thank you for listening!
