INSPIRATIONS

Al loves pre-war cars, many of which inspire him to this day.

CHALLENGE

For a post war car to win at Pebble  it has to be a very unique, one-off  that looks different.

SPECIAL AUTOMOBILE

1933 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental Gurney Nutting Drophead

BOOK RECOMMENDATION

PARTING WORDS OF WISDOM

Preservation is deliberate. A barn find is an accident of time.

When it comes to buying an old car, the cost of going to see it is nothing compared to the cost. Ask yourself… “Does the car speak to you?”

  1. This was a great show! The knowledge he has of pre-war motorcars must be amazing. I would love to spend time with him on a drive in a vintage vehicle.
