Brian Blain is one of the Ragtime Racers, a group of passionate automotive enthusiasts who take their 100-year-old race cars around the world to demonstrate on tracks what racing was like 100 years ago. After retiring from walnut farming in 2014 he focused full time on his hobby of restoring and racing vintage cars. Brian formed the non-profit Blain Motorsports Foundation, with a focus in race cars built prior to WWI, preserving our motorsports heritage, and sharing these grand racers with the world. He and his group have participated in races across the U.S., in Canada, England, Australia, and New Zealand. Brian is active in various community organizations, youth activities, his church, and he’s been an aircraft pilot since he was 15 years old. The Rag Time Racers will be running demonstration laps at the Ironstone Concours.
