Jagger Jones is a 19 year old racer who in 2019 was awarded the NASCAR Rising Star of the Year Award after his strong rookie season in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. He finished 2nd in the Championship winning in Roseville and earning Rookie of the Year Honors. Following a childhood of watching his father and grandpa race he drove a go-kart at the age of 6 and won national karting championship granting him races in Europe. He took NASCAR’s California 2017 Rooking of the Year at just 14. His passions and success extend both on and off the track as he earned a spot on the Dean’s List as a student at High Point University in Business and Fellowship programs. If his last name sounds familiar from the world or racing well, Jagger’s grandfather is legendary racer and 1963 Indy 500 winner, Parnelli Jones. Yeah, that Jones! Jagger will be racing full time in the U.S. F2000 National Championship for Cape Motorsports in 2022.

PARTING WORDS OF WISDOM

“You can teach somebody to drive a race car. What you can’t teach them is the desire and will to win. You know, you gotta have that kick-butt kind of attitude and if you don’t have it you’re going to be a lesser driver and there are a lot of drivers out there that are lacking just a little bit of that desire and that will to win.” – Parnelli Jones
