Jan Kalmar is the Co-Owner of Kalmar Automotive, a company he and past Cars Yeah guest Tom Kristensen own. Kalmar’s Automotive’s mission is to create the greenest car ever by building new life back into existing cars. They fit them with plant fiber bodywork and if desired create an EV version. This all under the banner of automotive “haute-couture” where it’s all about low volume, high-quality, and bespoke tailormade. They also host events going to places where you don’t normally find automobiles and surely not air cooled Porsches. Jan raced in spring and endurance racing activities, was Team Manager at Le Mans for GT1 Jetalliance, Lotus works Team Jetalliance and holds several world records for long distance driving around the world. Jan is the Co-Owner of an extreme driving company as well.
