Kevin Tetz has had a career in collision repair and restoration and using his talents, he launched Paintucation, back in 1998, a series of award winning instructional videos focusing on fundamental automotive restoration and refinishing techniques. He also writes for magazines including Nashville Arts, Southern & Northern Rodder, Mustang & Fords, Car Craft, Mustang Monthly, Wheel Hub, and Truck Hub. Kevin has hosted his own TV series since 2000, including three seasons of “CLASSIC RIDES” on DIY Network and Nine seasons hosting and co-producing the popular “TRUCKS! TV” series on the SPIKE Network. Currently his show “Hands On Cars” airs on Amazon Prime, with a third season is in the works. Kevin’s new book “Patina, creating and preserving” is available through Cartech Publishing, and he is developing an online trade school, Paintucation University that will be available late summer.

INSPIRATION
Kevin’s wife who had a 30 year career running her own business. His body shop manager at Heritage Automotive, Jeff Perry gave Kevin a break when he offered his body shop to shoot in. Wayne and Miles Cook, in the magazine business, Jeff Ford and Donald Far, were great mentors in the technical world.
