Edmond Piffard has been a professional artist ever since he graduated from college, even though he never studied art. Shortly after graduation he moved to Los Angeles from his native San Diego and began driving a truck for a film set company. Edmond quickly talked my way into painting sets and backdrops, building models, and doing illustrations for many movies, music videos, and ad campaigns. He returned to San Diego after his first daughter was born in the early 90s, and began painting murals and paintings for interior designers, which he still dose to this day. A couple of years ago a client asked him to paint a portrait of his 1967 Ferrari 365 GT 2+2. Since then he painted a couple dozen cars for various clients. He enjoys the incredible challenge of accurately painting historic cars that are set in a nostalgic scene from their era.
