Raffi Minasian is a designer, professor, and automotive journalist specializing in the dynamic convergence of Design and Culture. He’s a frequent speaker and panelist for automotive themed conferences, a concours d’elegance judge, and vintage sports car enthusiast. Over the past 30 years, Raffi has designed and built several award-winning show cars, hundreds of scale model cars, thousands of automotive accessories, and worked in partnership with a wide range of fabrication studios building custom cars, hot rods, and advising on concours restoration projects. As part of his work in the vintage car industry, Raffi consults on car restorations, performs vintage car inspections for collectors, advises on collection management, and offers assistance to clients buying or selling vintage cars. Raffi recently helped me sell my long-held Porsche Turbo, the one I called my Orange Crush.
