Tom Cotter and Michael Alan Ross are in the middle of America’s Greatest Road Trip, a 7,000+ mile adventure that started in Key West Florida and is taking them to Deadhorse Alaska. Driving in a new Ford Bronco and pulling an Airstream trailer, these two are enjoying our countries two-lane backroads looking for cool cars and interesting enthusiasts. Tom is an author of many books and is writing his 18th automotive book, he is the host of Hagerty’s Barn Find Hunter and is currently restoring a 1964 Lotus Elan. Michael is a well-known automotive photographer and is documenting their journey. These two automotive enthusiasts gave me a call last Saturday and pulled into my driveway that evening for their first non-peanut and butter jelly sandwich dinner in thousands of miles. Jill and I hosted them for the night here at Cars Yeah headquarters, for a delicious pacific northwest meal, some fine wine, great conversation, and a good night’s sleep in real beds. Today they’ll reveal some secrets exposed in Tom’s new book: Secrets of the Barn Find Hunter.
