Tom de Lange is the CEO of Dymag, a company that has been in business since 1974 and is the world leader in carbon hybrid wheels. Tom is a highly experienced technical leader with a proven track record in applying cutting-edge engineering methods and processes to drive the development of innovative technologies and realize them in high-volume production. Tom joined Dymag from Dyson where he was Head of floor care research, and latterly led Process Improvement. Previously, Tom spent two decades at the pinnacle of global motorsport, holding the positions of Head of Aerodynamics at Penske NASCAR, Senior Aerodynamicist at Renault F1 Team, and Lead Aerodynamicist at Penske IndyCar.

INSPIRATION

Working at The Penske Corporation and with ‘The  Captain’ was incredible and shaped his career.

CHALLENGE

The challenge of scaling the business at DYMAG will be a huge challenge. Earlier in his career, after leaving Penske and joining Renault F1, Penske called him back to work on their NASCAR efforts which was a big cultural shift and a great challenge.
