Julio Saiz is the Founder of The Motor Chain, a better way to manage, preserve, share, and transfer the history of your classic vehicles throughout their lifetimes. He’s conquered the documentation paradox: you own the car, but you don’t own her information. Julio was born in Madrid and now lives in Zurich. His career was in computer science, he’s a go kart racing driver, car collector and a self-described ‘keeper’… he just can let a car go, and still owns the first car he bought. Here’s a fun fact about Julio; all of his cars are over 15 years old. His passion for old cars and accurate documentation lead to his creation of The Motor Chain.

INSPIRATION

Julio’s 1977 308 Ferrari was his first collector car and he wanted to create an accurate history, and that inspired The Motor Chain.

CHALLENGES

It took some time to find angle investors and a quality team with the adoption of a brand new concept in the automotive world. Julio has become a different person due to this process.
