Vernon Estes is an automotive enthusiast stricken with a severe addiction to all things related to the cars produced by Carroll Shelby’s band of Southern California hotrodders- Shelby American Inc. Vernon operates Vernon Estes Classics out of the Kansas City area. The company specializes in the buying and selling of some of the rarest and highest quality Shelby Mustangs, Cobras, and other performance Fords which exist in the world today. Vern is a collector of “all things” Shelby American including factory literature, display objects, glovebox literature, parts, and just about anything else produced in the 1960s in relation to the company! He’s working with Mecum Auctions offering  over 450 Carroll Shelby artifacts at No Reserve through May 23 and 30, 2023.
