James Muirhead is Head of Sales for Automotive at Bridge of Weir Leather. He has been working there for over 17 years. However, his relationship with the brand goes back generations. James is the great-great-grandson of Arthur Muirhead who founded their family-owned Scottish leather-making company in 1905. Eight generations of the same family have been involved in Bridge of Weir’s Leather history, which can trace its leather-making roots all the way back to 1758. Today it operates one of Europe’s largest leather production facilities and supplies luxurious premium leather to Aston Martin, Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren, Polestar, Lucid, Continental, Rolls-Royce, and other fine marques. James lives in Scotland and is a passionate car enthusiast, having owned high-performance cars including a BMW M2 and M3, and a Jaguar F-Type.
