Igor Polegkiy is a Sales Executive at Classic Recreations located in Texas. They build licensed and authentic 60s Shelby Mustangs with modern technology, some with full carbon fiber bodies. Igor is a Ukrainian-born Texan and a huge Formula 1 fan who has a passion for anything on four wheels. Igor’s early life was filled with automobiles, car shows, regional and national sports car races, and pretty much anything in the middle. His career path has been in the automotive industry and ranges from photography to consulting services in the exotic and hypercar industry, connecting people with the cars they love. Today at Classic Recreations he works in a family-owned company and with a team of dedicated professionals who are fulfilling enthusiast’s dreams.

INSPIRATION
Igor’s mother who brought Igor to the USA when he was just 5 years old to provide for a better life for him. Two others are Josh Jones and Brian Stone who is one of the owners of Classic Recreations. Both have been mentors for Igor.
CHALLENGE
Moving to Texas right before COVID began, and not knowing anyone, was a challenge.
