David Culshaw is an author who has been an A.O.C. member for over 67 years having joined back in 1955. He is a lifelong fan of the Alvis marque which led to his writing the book titled,  Alvis Society – A Century of Drivers which chronicles every model and lists every chassis number ever produced along with owners. According to Alan Stote, Chairman of The Alvis Car Company, “David possesses two exceptional skills; his meticulous approach to research along with a truly entertaining and engaging style for the reader’s enjoyment.” The Alvis car has always appealed to a buyer who wants to make his mark in the world and the list of owners ranges from politicians to stage and screen actors, sports figures, Kings, and even a serial killer. This book has been published by Veloce Press 100 years after the very first Alvis car emerged from the production line in Coventry.
