Cars Yeah TV Show

Filming at the Steve McQueen Car Show with artist Nicolas Hunziker.

Back in 2019 I got into the marbles of my comfort zone and endeavored to produce and host a video version of the Cars Yeah podcast.

It was a really fun ride.

The experience was enlightening, educational, challenging, frustrating, and expensive. Sounds like an automotive restoration project, doesn’t it? In the end it was a wild ride and I’m proud of the shows. I am extremely grateful for some of the people who helped make it a reality. Those included my guests, who gave their valuable time, and my production team, Dave Losko of Sun River Films, and Jake Gunnerson and Robert Pyne of Final Stage Media. These guys taught me a lot and went above and beyond on every shoot and during the editing process.

Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone

There are many automotive focused TV and YouTube shows, of which many are scripted reality shows that try to be one thing but in reality are another. My goal was to expose the Cars Yeah podcast in a visual format by taking you behind the garage door and into the lives of people who have figured out how to wrap their passion for cars, trucks, and motorcycles, into their lives and careers.

We were successful.

We traveled to many cities, and I got to drive some really fun vehicles. In all, we shot 17 shows, aired the first 13 on MAV TV, and streamed them on Lucas Oil Racing. Then, just as we were gaining momentum, COVID struck, shutting everything down. Just like in a race, you never know what may come along that parks you in the pits. The key is learning from the experience and not dwelling on what could have been. Today you can watch the first 10 shows on the Cars Yeah YouTube channel. Our plans are to add the other shows in the New Year.

I hope you enjoy our efforts and watch the show. Please drop me a comment on YouTube, Subscribe, and I hope you enjoy the shows. Cars Yeah YouTube
