Maria Bull is the owner and trustee of the award-winning international motorsports publisher David Bull Publishing, and the sister of David Bull, founder of the company. David founded the company with the goal of producing the highest quality motorsports books—well written, beautifully designed, and produced to the highest standards. Maria grew up in and lives in Massachusetts. She graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in journalism. She worked on newspapers and magazines, and then went into head-hunting and marketing, but her favorite jobs have been working at a large animal hospital, being an adventure buddy for wonderful elders, and working trackside with her brothers David and Tom, and her husband Steve Garrity. The company most recently released the Publisher’s Edition of Luca Dal Monte’s book “Enzo Ferrari: Power, Politics and the Making of an Automotive Empire,” whom I recently had on Cars Yeah.

Thanks for your interesting interview with Maria Bull. Having edited about two dozen books for him, it’s encouraging to know that his business will survive and thrive. David published my Shelby book, and I always wanted him to co-drive with me on the Colorado Grand, but alas that never happened.
A really nice interview with Maria Bull…and a fine tribute to David…who published my James Dean: At Speed, 2005. Looking forward to seeing the new motorsports chapter of David Bull Publications for the future.
