Sean-Tucker

Sean Tucker is the great-grandson of automotive visionary Preston Tucker and the Co-Owner of Preston Tucker LLC. He is an Automotive Engineer by trade and has over 10 years of experience in design, development, and manufacturing with some of the world’s leading car and truck brands. Sean currently works as a Quality Engineer at a leading truck manufacturer and consults at Ida Automotive and Rob Ida Concepts. One of Sean’s current projects includes assisting in the design and fabrication of the Tucker Torpedo concept car – a project led by Rob Ida to build the car that Sean’s great- grandfather, Preston Tucker, imagined before the Tucker ’48 but was never able to build. Rob Ida has been a guest here on Cars Yeah.

  1. Wow, what an incredibly interesting interview. I can’t think of anywhere else where you could hear such an important topic. I’ve been very interested since seeing the movie in the 80’s. I now Must get to Hershey which is only an hour from me to see their Tucker display. Thank you Sean for sharing your story and Mark for bringing it to us.
