  1. Very entertaining book by author, Bill Pollack. Bill is one of the winningest racers of the West Coast. He consistently powered his legendary Allard J2 to victory, ahead of Ferrari , Aston-Martin and Jags. His black Cad-Allard #14 did not go unnoticed with his red wire wheels, white walls and a baggage rack on the rear boot. Bill’s is a good story-teller the recalls the era of Torry Pines, Santa Barbara, etc, with humour, insight and accuracy. Bill currently lives in Sherman Oaks, California.
His book is “Red Wheels and White Walls: Confessions of an Allard Racer”
Forward by Carroll Shelby (another successful Allard racer)
