Head’s Up

When you go to a high performance driving or a racing school one thing you are sure to hear is “Look where you want to go, not where you are going.” If your car is sliding toward a tree, don’t look at the tree, look instead at where you want the car to go.

Instead of focusing on your fear focus on where you want to go.

This same strategy can be used in life, relationships, and business. Instead of focusing on the danger and your fears, focus on the goal. Focus on what you want, not what you don’t want.

It is always good to keep your head up!

Another message you’ll hear in driving school is “Head’s up!” This gets you to look out there ahead of you and not at what is right in front of you. Again, focusing on your goals, not your challenges nor your fears.

Keep your head up always looking toward your goals, dreams, and aspirations.

  1. Just what I needed to hear today. Principles I recognize as true and have used with success but still need to remember to apply to other aspects of myself…..like today. thank you!

  2. Thank you, Mark, for your weekly messages. They are always thoughtful.
I learn something new from each of your podcast interviews. Sometimes it’s about cars, sometimes it’s about life.
Your efforts in this CarsYeah endeavor are much appreciated.
