I had the pleasure of meeting Josh Lange in person at the Quail Motorsport Gathering this year during Monterey Car Week. Josh is a truly Inspiring Automotive Enthusiast™ with a deep passion to chase his dreams and make them a reality. While I stood there and he explained the car he designed, that sat there on the grass for all to enjoy, Josh shared a poem he penned. Its words can easily be applied to any goal in life and business.
My Concept Car
It starts out as only a fantasy
Where I am at the track meet of my life
And I want to jump over the world.
Voices from the stands cry out
Nobody creates a car all on their own.
Set reachable goals
I was told when I wondered out loud
This was not enough
So I raised the bar into the clouds
Because this time the expected limits were too low
As I was ready to fly.
So I took a leap of faith
And built that car.
As the project comes to a close
I ponder as I descend.
I made my dream come true.
