Performance Equation

©Cars-Yeah-Blog

What gets in the way of allowing us to deliver the performance we’re capable of regardless of where that performance takes place? In the moment where you must perform it is impossible to do better than the best you can do in that moment.

It is really that simply.

If we can bring the best we are capable of in that moment, it is impossible for us to do better than that. The problem is that it is quite possible for us to do less than we are capable of in that moment if we actually get in our own way. Understanding how we mentally sabotage our own performance is the key.

The fundamental root of the problem is the same for everybody.

Why do we shoot ourselves in the foot? It stems with a fixation on results. How do we make success and create the best results? If we’re focused on how we’re doing we cannot be focused on what we are doing at the same time.

The Performance Equation is A X B = Results.
