Racer Buddy Baker said, “He ran out of talent about half way through the corner.” Perhaps he meant, “He didn’t take the time to improve.”
Time can be our greatest enemy.
Time never stops. But time is also replenished with ever second. How many times have you said, “I didn’t have time”? Did you mean, “I didn’t want to take the time.”
Everyone has talent.
That talent most likely comes from taking the time to practice. Taking the time to sharpen your saw. Taking the time to improve. Choosing how to spend your time could mean the difference between running out of talent half way through the corner or making it to the checkered flag.
So, are you taking the time?
