853: Dennis Koleber

My name’s Lee Lucas. I am a long-time friend of Dennis, (Vladimir’s too), and had recently been in touch with him weekly over the last months, many, many, times over multiple media’s;
Before his Disappearance and Sudden Hospitalization. I tried so hard to reach him for a week until i heard about his illness.

Now: I’m Just & Remain Stunned by the Sudden & Tragic News. I’m struggling to believe it.

So, I’ve been thinking of, & praying for all of You, Everyday Since I Learned The Truth;
And Now Even More-So Since His Sudden & Way Too Soon Passing.
I Want To Wish All of You in The Dennis Koleber Family, and your Relatives and Good Friends;
My Deepest, Wholehearted & Sincerest Condolences & Sympathies!

Also Inform you that if there’s anything i may do to help;
PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK! …OKAY?

Dennis & I had just resolved an agreement for purchasing of 2 of his CAN-AM cars, (Koveleski & Zeppelin), when he vanished. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO GET YOU THAT MONEY!

So I couldn’t understand why for over a week, he quit responding!
& BTW: The True Reason I’d Appreciate Completing that Transaction is Because I REALLY WANT KEEPSAKES, FROM A MAN I ADMIRED, RESPECTED & APPRECIATED SO VERY MUCH!
I do have some racetrack & model car show chats as memories, (which to be honest are becoming a little hazy now).

But What An Incredible Man:
An Extremely Talented Artist.
A Brilliant Minded Perfectionist.
A Hard Working, Busy Man, Doing What He Loved!
A Family Man!
A Sincere, Loyal, & Real Gentleman!
A Fun Guy! -(Although if he disliked something he didn’t exactly hold back from letting his feelings be known about it!)

Dennis Inspired Me; A 3X National, & Professional, Race Car & M-X Champion;
Along With So Many, Many, Others Like Me for the love of Miniatures!
–> My Collection is up to @200 1/18 Models, and another 100+ In lesser scales down to hot wheels & MatchBox!
– I Promised Myself: I wasn’t buying anymore cars until i saw his 2-Listings;
Which Hit Me Like A Hammer, (because i know, and have raced against both the cars… Leaving them far Behind, by the Time the Checkered Flag Dropped.

Now that Same Flag has Waved to Dennis, and his Race here on Earth is Finished. The Wonderful Part is That Dennis Left with So Many Friends, So Many Lives He Truly Touched & Inspired, and So Many People He Pleased Above All Expectations; (including many other perfectionists with very high expectations!)!!!
So Dennis’s Historical Mark Upon This Earth, & This Life-Time Has Definitely Been Stamped!!!

DENNIS MADE HIS PLACE & MARK IN HISTORY BY THE OPPORTUNITIES HE CREATED, THE INCREDIBLE WORK HE DID, AND THE HUNDREDS & HUNDREDS OF INCREDIBLE PEOPLE HE WAS SO GOOD TO!!!

MR. DENNIS KOLEBER WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!!

I Dearly Hope You All Feel the Same Way About Him Too, and Accept Him As Who He Was.

Again, I’m Terribly Sorry for Your Loss. Also For Your The Grief Processes of Shock, Denial, Anger, Pain, Sadness, Depression & the rest I’m Sure your All Working Through, Towards Acceptance, Grace and Gratitude.
Believe me because i know more than most:
It will get much better for you ❤️‍🩹!

I hope his Memorial was as Good as One Can Be, this past Monday.
I would like to have come, but i’m now a Homebound, @Bedridden, Chronically & Severely Painfully, Permanently Disabled, Man, & a bit older than Dennis was.

The Modeling & Racing Worlds, as Well as Mine, & Your Lives Will Never Be The Same Without Him In It!

So in Farewell with THIS Message;

My Sympathies, Compassion, Love, & Support, Including My, (24 Years of Hard Earned, Perfect Sobriety’s, Odd, But Enlightened Versions), of Many Prayers I’ll Continue Sending Off To You!
