INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE
We are what we repeatedly do; therefore, is not an act, but a habit. – Aristotle
CAREER & LIFE CHALLENGES
I was an industrial design major in college and industrial design really combines the art and design of the product. As a design major, you have to understand how things work. I always thought I would be an automobile designer and have a concept attributed to me. It doesn’t work that way. Car components are often designed by many designers, not just one. I focused on designing watches, furniture, electronics, fitness equipment, and off-road vehicles in industries where my designs could be attributed to me. I have learned why a certain person should buy a certain type of car, or why certain colors appeal to individuals. Because of the experience I’ve had, I am able to speak about design on the show with Todd.
FIRST SPECIAL VEHICLE
I had a 1988 Porsche 928 S4. It was black with tan leather. I made many memories in that car, and that’s why I consider it to be my first special car.
BEST AUTOMOTIVE ADVICE
My friend and co-host, Todd, told me that I don’t have to dislike a car to get rid of it.

PARTING WORDS OF ADVICE
Think about the people you have known in your life and think about the accomplishments they made after the age of 40. Never tell yourself that you’re too old to accomplish what you really want to do.
