INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE

Make no small plans; they have no magic to stir men’s blood and probably themselves will not be realized. Make big plans; aim high in hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical diagram once recorded will not die. -Daniel Burnham

CAREER & LIFE CHALLENGES

When I’ve run into issues in the past, I hadn’t stopped to make sure people around me were on the same page with me. I tend to run ahead but I’ve learned to make sure others share my vision and can help shape the plan at hand.

FIRST SPECIAL VEHICLE

In the 1980’s, I bought a 1973 Fiat 124 Spyder from a high school kid who had it. He tore it apart each weekend, cleaned it, and put it back together. I remember riding around Vermont with the top down in that car just thinking it was heaven, and everything on the car just fit me. I was living in Cambridge, Mass. at the time, and had had the car about two years. There was no off-street parking, so I parked my car on the street before leaving for a business meeting. When I returned, my car (named Marcello) was missing. A young kid who hadn’t been driving very long side-swiped Marcello, and totaled it.
