May I borrow a moment of your time? It is not every day that we have the opportunity to mark a momentous event from 700 years ago. But on this date in 1321 the great poet Dante Alighieri passed away, leaving behind perhaps the greatest poem in Western literature.
The Divine Comedy
Dante composed The Divine Comedy at the height of the Middle Ages while living in exile from his home in Florence. This epic poem, in three parts, provides a grand education in the nature of God and man, character and choice, and the path to freedom and happiness.
The Divine Comedy is truly a roadmap to navigate life’s pitfalls.
