No Place Like Home

I’ve worked from home for 7 years since founding Cars Yeah. Back where I used to work I would often think “In my next career I won’t have to commute nor have employees to deal with.”

Be careful what you ask for… you may just get it.

Today millions are being told to work from home. Advancements in technology have allowed this to be feasible. Now is your time to act and create a high productive home workspace that excites and stimulates your creativity and thought process.

Seize the quarantine and make your home office dreams come true.

While this quarantine is a prime example of the benefits of having a home office, a comfortable and exciting home workspace is a wonderful asset for the driven individual. Work, create, imagine, and dream all from the comfort of your home in a space specifically designed by you to nurture, inspire, and motivate your spirit. I encourage you to have some fun and create the ideal environment that will make you smile when you commute down your hallway.

Here’s to your good health, both physical and mental.

A few details of my home office are:

• A wood automotive design my son created while in college mounted to the wall.

• A three dimensional Monaco Race Track by Linear Edge.

Fender Stratocaster Limited Edition, one of 200, Hot Rod Guitar.

Washburn Acoustic Guitar my wife bought me when we were married 35 years ago.

One Forty Three bent wood guitar holder and Desk Organizer.

• Custom made walnut desktop from Outside The Box Woodworking.

Eureka Ergonomics standing desk converter.

Jens Risom Walnut Wast Backet.

• Apple iMac Computer.

Aeron Work Chair.

• Nicolas Hunziker Porsche Houndstooth Pillow

Heil PR40 mic with boom. Sony MDR 7506 Professional headphones. Focusrite/Scarlett 2i2 Audio interface.

Bose Companion Two Speakers. Logitec Master 3 Wireless Mouse.

• Artwork on the walls created by many of my past Cars Yeah guests. The lithograph above my guitar is one I picked up at Retromobile in 2011 drawn by Paul Bouvot

• A pair of my Grandfather’s cowboy boots that my dad had custom made for him long, long ago. My Grandfather was a true Texas cowboy, a farmer, and a rancher.

  1. I have home office envy now! Brando and I have worked from home for 12 years now. But what we lack in cool toys and decor we make up with view. My office overlooks a very active pond of bird life, turtles and alligators. Across the pond is the big red barn, still overflowing with great classic cars in various stages of restoration. We all must remember to count our blessings. You are a welcomed positive voice.

  2. I also have a home office (although not as spacious as yours) that I write auto racing history books from. I even have the same iMac as you. I have been spending a lot of time in it since the lockdown. Of course I still miss setting up my booth at car shows and auto racing events.
