I’m Outta Here

Photo by past Cars Yeah guest, the late Jessi Alexander

Well, it’s been a fun ride.

I am grateful for you allowing me into your life.

As I sit here today, saying so long is bittersweet. While I’m excited for the new chapters ahead, it’s heartwarming to think of so many inspiring people I’ve met over the past ten-plus years. This ride would not have been possible without the guests and you, the listenersThank you for listening, your support and friendship, and the incredible journey that you’ve made possible.

I will carry fond memories with me forever.

Please know that I will cherish the time we shared and the many inspiring lessons I’ve learned for the rest of my life. Remember: This isn’t an end; It’s a new beginning with a new voice to carry on the mantra… Inspiring Automotive Enthusiasts™. You are a key part of that mission. Let’s stay connected.

From the beginning, I planned to build a brand that could carry on without me at the wheel.

I encourage you to give Ginger Baker Rust the same support and help that you shared with me. I am confident she will continue to inspire, and I know she will transform Cars Yeah into something even more inspiring, substantial, and unique.

I learned the secret to a happy life with Cars Yeah.

Cars Yeah has taught me the secret to a great life: Find a way to help others in any way you can, big or small. It truly is the secret to happiness. I recommend giving it a try.

Until then, I’ll see you down the road.

  2. Help others! That’s exactly what you have done for me. I can’t tell you how many shows I listened to and said “Wow. That person is doing something great or similar to what I want to do”. So through the show notes page I got their contact info and reached out. I have made many friends and colleagues in the car community around the country because of the networking your show gave me. You will be missed. Thank you. Thank you. And in case I haven’t said it enough already. Thank you and God Speed Mark Green.

  14. Thanks for your dedication, Mark, and this great volume of interviews that will fortunately carry on.
And of course thanks for interviewing me–finally, someone listened to all my complaints!

  15. Mark, you picked me up when I was at my lowest and gave me hope. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out the way you and I thought. For both of us, it worked out for the better. Let’s get together soon. You won’t believe the road trip I’m on at the moment. The scenery is fantastic! Crazy idea, but maybe Ginger could use an occasional passenger or let me put something in her “glove box”. Bless you.

  16. Mark,
I’m so grateful you’ve been part of my adventure and that you’ve allowed me to part of yours. Your enthusiasm and love of everything automotive is infectious and has touched so many of us. I will embrace your secret to a great life and will find a way to help others, big or small. Thanks for the ride. Be well. Be safe. Be happy.
