INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE

The greatest thing in life is experience. Even mistakes have value. —Henry Ford

CAREER & LIFE CHALLENGES

One of the biggest challenges was being able to become established in the field, and landing my first job. I have always been willing to be flexible, and that has served me well in my career. Always think farther down the road, and think about how each step you take moves you closer to your goal.

FIRST SPECIAL VEHICLE

My first special vehicle was my Dad’s car, a 1986 Pontiac 6000 STE, which was tricked out with all the bells and whistles.

  1. Matt. I have an odd question about the Lincoln X100 on display in the Ford Museum. I read where it was redone in 1964 and put back in service until 1977. I am a Ham-amateur radio operator , a broadcaster and technical coordinator and have a question about the original radio equipment in the original x-100 in 1961. I read in Popular Science, Sept. 1961, that it had two radio telephones and 5000 feet of wiring! My questions: Any public details on the two-way radios in the 1961 original. Any public info on the two-way radio upgrades in 1964 redo for Johnson (if there were any)? I am an old radio guy and love stuff like this. I hope to visit the museum someday. I am 76 now. Thanks for what you do. John
