CAREER & LIFE CHALLENGES
One of my greatest challenges was in 2014, which was a crazy year for the collector car market. Certain makes/models increased 20% each month as the year went on, and it the market was rapidly expanding. Then, the next year, values dropped, but finally leveled off. I learned to adapt and evolve, which you have to do in any business.
FIRST SPECIAL VEHICLE
My first special vehicle was Mimosa yellow, 1976 Triumph TR6, which belonged to my grandfather. My grandfather showed the car, which won awards, and I was very privileged to inherit the car. I will never sell it.
BEST AUTOMOTIVE ADVICE
Buy with your heart, and not with your wallet. Set a budget, and buy the very best vehicle you can afford at that budget. Be realistic! You can’t expect to get a champagne car on a beer budget!
