INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE

Fear is a state of mind and will is an action taken.

CAREER & LIFE CHALLENGES

I had a grandiose plan to own race team and to be the race car driver.  I got a good sponsor,  and I really wanted to elevate the people on the team. When I found out that some of the team members weren’t the right ones, it was very difficult. Things weren’t going as they should right before my eyes, and I completely missed it. It was hard. I was hard on myself, even though I was having a good season. I had self-doubt but realized I had to be ok when I was failing. I had to pull the plug and start over. I am finally positioned like I want to be and looking forward to seeing what the future holds.

FIRST SPECIAL VEHICLE

The first special car I had was in 2013. It was the tail-end of my first corporate sponsorship. I stayed connected with them, and they wanted to stay connected to me, as well. They ended up giving me a Pro-Mazda, which was about a $55,000.00 race car.

BEST AUTOMOTIVE ADVICE

The best advice I received is to change the word “bad” to good. For example, if you have a bad qualifying run, it’s “good” because you can see where you went wrong, and improve on it.
