INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE
(At a younger age Jon liked this.) You either commit to something or you don’t.
(Presently, he realizes this.) People tell car stories differently from the way they tell other stories.
(Inspirational favorite) I had a dream of what it was to be Ferrari. – Ferrari
CAREER & LIFE CHALLENGES
Five years ago, it was very difficult to be an online writer about cars. Today, if you’re willing to live in a humble way, you can make a living writing about cars online. I was asked to do a startup by 3 very successful Silicone Valley guys. The idea we put together didn’t really touch my heart. I should have told them early in the process that I wanted to begin again, but I didn’t, even when I had the opportunity. I didn’t have the courage. I learned a big lesson. I should have listened to my gut feelings.
