David Charvet is the founder of Charvet Classic Cars where for over 15 years he has sold classic and vintage automobiles. Several years ago he branched out into selling car collector’s estates that include automobiles, automotive memorabilia, Petroliana, and other auto-related items that collector amass over their lifetime. In his previous careers, David was a performing magician and he is known as one of the foremost historians in the world of magic. He’s authored over a dozen books about magic’s practitioners and his writings have garnered multiple awards. For over 40 years David performed magic around the world. David is a long-time judge at the Forest Grove Concours, now in its 47th year taking place on the campus of Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon.

A ’40 120 sedan got me started in 1974 as a mere lad. My “The Great Race” was Bruce Carter’s fanciful book, “Speed Six!” which i couldn’t put down, read cover to cover one afternoon in the sixth grade.
