Jeff Stumb is the Director of the Great Race, an annual vintage automotive driving event that has taken in the United States for 36 years. The drive has grown to unprecedented heights, from a record number of rookies to the overall number of teams. Jeff grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and saw the Great Race for the first time in 1987. He participated in the event in 1994 competing through the years with friends, his father, and his wife. He had a career in the newspaper business for almost 25 years and has owned over 150 classic cars ranging from a 1916 Hudson to a 1965 Chevrolet Bel Air. The Great Race began in 1983 and has raised thousands of dollars for charity. In 2010 Corky Coker of Coker Tires took over leadership and the company he founded owns the event to this day under the leadership of past Cars Yeah guest, Wade Kawasaki.
