John Carlson is the Chief Judge for the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada Corporation and the Vintage Car Club of Canada. He has judged at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance for 25 years. He is the Chief Judge for Arizona, Cobble Beach, Las Vegas, Crescent Beach, Hilton Head and the Vancouver Island Concours. John has judged at most of the major Concours in the USA and Canada over the past 50 years. He has written well over a hundred in-depth articles dealing with vintage car restoration and the collector car hobby. He is an International Chief Judges Advisory Group founding member and serves on the LeMay America’s Car Museum Steering committee and has been inducted into three Motorsports Hall of Fames and is a recipient of the prestigious Lee Iacocca Award.
