Rony Karam is the FIVA Ambassador for the Middle East and the FIVA Representative to UNESCO. He has been a member of the FIVA Culture Commission for more than 12 years. Founded in 1966 FIVA is the worldwide federative association of historic automobile clubs, be they for veteran, vintage, pre-war or post-war classic automobiles, including motorcycles and trucks that are at least 30 years old. FIVA’s goals are to protect and promote world motoring heritage. Rony is a car collector and has judged in many Concours events including Dubai, Kuwait International Concours d’Elegance, Qatar International Concours, and Chantilly France Concours Arts et Elegance. He has contributed to the elaboration of the TURIN CHARTER in the FIVA Culture Commission as well and has organized classic vehicle events.
