Rick Schmidt is the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at National Parts Depot. NPD stands as one of the largest restoration parts suppliers in the world. They specialize in classic Ford and GM vehicles and have four locations nationwide offering 12 different retail parts catalogs with thousands of parts for your collector and classic cars. Rick’s father founded the company in 1976 selling parts for 1955 – 1957 Ford Thunderbirds out of his basement. Rick was only 9 at the time and over the years he’s worked pretty much every job there is in the company. Along the way Rick’s assembled an eclectic collection of over 200 cars and trucks, mostly American made ranging from 1903 and mostly unrestored, low-mile survivor vehicles.

  1. NPD is the best! Love calling there and their parts people are friendly and really know their parts. Only place I get my 69 Mustang parts.
